Frequently asked questions
Yes — we repair discontinued Omron C200H, C200HX and CV controllers. We have components for regenerating these platforms, allowing older lines to be restored without costly upgrades of the entire system.
Yes — before repair we create a backup of the program from the controller memory. The program is returned with the device. If read-back is not possible, we inform you in advance.
Diagnostics: up to 5 business days. Repair after quote approval: 5–7 business days (after receiving necessary components). For stopped lines we react with priority. As a rule — repair time may be significantly extended depending on component availability and repair complexity. Deadlines are agreed individually with the client.
Yes — we repair EtherCAT modules used in NX/NJ systems, as well as EtherNet/IP and DeviceNet communication cards. After repair we verify communication correctness on a test bench.
We return the device; if repair is declined, we charge a diagnostics fee (300 PLN net). We can advise on a replacement or upgrading to a newer Omron platform.

Omron PLC Repair — NJ/NX, CJ, and CP Series Controllers
Omron PLCs — NJ/NX-series machine controllers, CJ2M, CJ1M, CP1L/CP1H compact controllers, and legacy C200H/CS1 systems — are widely used in packaging, automotive, food processing, and general manufacturing across Asia and Europe. The newer NJ/NX platform integrates PLC, motion, vision, and safety in a unified architecture, while CJ and CP series continue to serve millions of simpler automation applications reliably. Omron PLC failures impact diverse industries where these controllers manage production processes.
Common Omron PLC failures include CPU unit processor and memory faults (particularly battery-backed memory loss from depleted batteries), power supply unit degradation, discrete output module transistor burnout from inductive loads, analog I/O module channel failures, communication module malfunctions (EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, DeviceNet, CompoNet), and special function unit issues (positioning, counter, serial). Legacy C200H and CS1 modules face significant component aging, while newer NJ/NX units may develop Ethernet PHY or SSD issues.
EFIXLAB provides Omron PLC repair for all controller generations. Our capabilities include CPU unit board-level diagnostics and repair, power supply rebuild, I/O module output driver replacement and analog calibration, communication interface IC replacement, and special function unit restoration. We verify repaired modules using Omron CX-Programmer/Sysmac Studio diagnostics and test all communication links.
Omron PLC repair is especially valuable for legacy C200H and CS1 systems where new modules are no longer available. Repair costs typically save 35–60% versus new module purchase across all Omron controller families. For NJ/NX platform repairs, we preserve existing Sysmac Studio project compatibility. All Omron PLC repairs include comprehensive testing and our 12-month warranty.
