Industrial modernization and retrofit
Old PLC discontinued
by the manufacturer?
We modernize your machine — turnkey.
PLC Retrofit · Drives · HMI · CNC · Design, implementation and training in one place
What do we modernize?
Comprehensive retrofit from existing installation analysis to commissioning and training
PLC controller retrofit
Siemens S5 → S7-1200/1500, Allen-Bradley SLC 500 / PLC-5 → CompactLogix, Mitsubishi MELSEC A → iQ-R, Modicon → M580
Drive modernization
Inverter retrofit (Masterdrives, ACS300) to new generations, Simodrive 611 to SINAMICS S120 replacement with interface adaptation
HMI panel migration
Replacement of old operator terminals with modern touchscreen panels including visualization project migration and adaptation
CNC system retrofit
Fanuc 0 → 0i-MF, Siemens 840C → 840Dsl, HEIDENHAIN TNC 360 → 640 replacement with machining program preservation
Industrial network migration
Transition from Profibus/MPI/DeviceNet to Profinet/EtherNet/IP, integration with MES/SCADA systems and industrial cloud
Documentation and training
Full as-built documentation (EPLAN schematics, PLC/HMI source codes), operating manuals, operator and maintenance staff training
Why modernize instead of buying a new machine?
-
30–70% cheaper than a new machine
The mechanics of a working machine is its greatest value. New electronics cost a fraction of a new machine.
-
Parts availability for years
After modernization to the current platform, you have guaranteed access to spare parts and manufacturer support.
-
New features without downtime
Better diagnostics, remote monitoring, MES/ERP integration — without the cost of purchasing a new production line.
-
Preserving operator knowledge
The machine retains its mechanical properties. Only the electronics change — training takes less time.
-
Turnkey project
One point of contact — from audit and concept, through design and implementation, to commissioning and staff training.
-
Sustainability
Extending machine life by 15–20 years means a significantly smaller carbon footprint than manufacturing a new device.
How do we deliver a project?
On-site or remote visit — assessment of existing installation, PLC/CNC program, schematics
We propose modernization options, schedule and budget — no obligation
Schematic development, PLC/HMI/CNC programming, hardware selection, bench testing
New cabinet or component installation, wiring, integration with existing installation
Machine startup, functional and safety tests, production program verification
Handover of as-built documentation, operator and maintenance staff training

Frequently asked questions
Yes — program migration is a key element of every retrofit project. We convert the program from the old environment (e.g. STEP 5, LADDER SLC) to the new one (TIA Portal, Studio 5000) preserving the technological logic and with testing.
Time depends on machine complexity. A simple HMI panel replacement takes 1–2 weeks. A full PLC retrofit with program migration typically takes 4–12 weeks. The schedule is agreed at the concept stage.
Yes — a phased retrofit is possible, e.g. first HMI, then drives, finally PLC. We plan each stage so the machine stays in production as long as possible.
Yes — as part of every project we deliver full documentation: electrical schematics (EPLAN), commented PLC/HMI source codes, operating manual and acceptance test protocols.
Yes — we offer after-sales service agreements covering remote diagnostics, software updates and on-site interventions. Details are agreed individually after project completion.
