Why EFIXLAB?

Full MELDAS service chain — NCU, drives, encoders

  • NC parameter backup before repair — backup of system parameters and machining programs using Mitsubishi tools or via RS-232/Ethernet.
  • MELDAS 60/64 (EOL) — specialization — when official support ends, EFIXLAB takes over. We have access to components for these discontinued models.
  • SSCNET drives — full protocol — repair of SSCNET I/II/III communication cards, ring topology diagnostics, service of SSCNET cables.
  • Post-repair testing — verification of SSCNET communication after repair, axis and spindle test before return.
  • Priority for stopped machines — we react immediately to urgent requests.
  • 12-month warranty — on all performed work.

Frequently asked questions

Yes — MELDAS 60 and 64 are discontinued systems, but still widely used. We have access to components and replacement cards. This is significantly cheaper than replacing the entire controller.

Yes — before repair we archive all copyable parameters and NC programs via RS-232 or Mitsubishi Ethernet. After repair everything returns to the MELDAS.

Yes — we repair MDS-E-V1/V2, MDS-EH, MDS-R-V1/V2 and MDS-RJ servo amplifiers. We replace IGBT, capacitors and service the SSCNET control electronics.

Diagnostics: 1–2 business days. Repair after quote approval: 5–7 business days (after receiving necessary components). Express mode available for urgent stopped machines. As a rule — repair time may be significantly extended depending on component availability and repair complexity. Deadlines are agreed individually with the client.

Mitsubishi MELDAS CNC System Repair

Mitsubishi Electric MELDAS CNC systems — including M700V, M80, M800, and legacy M60/M65 series — control machine tools from numerous builders worldwide. The MELDAS platform integrates CNC controllers with MDS servo and spindle drives, GOT operator panels, and MELSEC PLC modules for machine auxiliary control. Mitsubishi CNC systems are particularly prevalent in Asian-built machine tools but also widely used in European and American manufacturing, offering high performance at competitive pricing.

Common MELDAS system failures include CNC controller unit mainboard faults (CPU failures, memory errors, compact flash corruption), MDS servo amplifier power stage degradation, spindle drive IGBT failures, operator panel display and touchscreen problems, PLC communication errors between CNC and machine I/O, and power supply unit aging. Older M60/M65 systems face increasing component obsolescence, while M700V and M80 systems may develop SSD-related boot issues.

EFIXLAB provides comprehensive Mitsubishi MELDAS system repair. Our capabilities include CNC controller board diagnostics and component-level repair, MDS servo and spindle drive power stage rebuild, GOT panel restoration, PLC module repair, and power supply overhaul. We test all repaired CNC components with Mitsubishi-compatible diagnostics, verifying axis servo performance, spindle speed accuracy, and proper PLC communication.

MELDAS CNC repair delivers significant savings over Mitsubishi OEM replacement pricing — typically 35–60%. This is particularly important for machine shops running multiple Mitsubishi-controlled machines where drive and controller spares represent substantial inventory costs. For legacy M60/M65 systems, repair is essential to keep older but productive machine tools running. All MELDAS repairs include comprehensive testing and our 12-month warranty.
