Moeller (Eaton) Controller and Drive Repair
Moeller (now Eaton Industries) produced a wide range of industrial control products including PLCs (XC/PS4 series), HMI panels (XV/XVS series), soft starters (DM4/DS7), and small variable frequency drives that remain widely installed in European industry. Despite the Eaton acquisition, millions of Moeller-branded components continue to operate in legacy installations — particularly in building automation, HVAC, and small-to-medium manufacturing applications throughout Central and Eastern Europe.
Common Moeller/Eaton electronics failures include PLC CPU module processor and memory faults, HMI panel display degradation (backlight failure, touchscreen drift), soft starter thyristor and control board failures, VFD power stage issues, and communication module malfunctions (PROFIBUS, DeviceNet, Ethernet).
